The Climate Change Centre Austria (CCCA) is a research network supported by Austria's leading research institutions, which both connects and strengthens climate and climate impact research, as well as providing society and policy-makers with scientifically sound information and advice on climate-related topics. The CCCA does not carry out research itself, but sees itself as a coordination body for Austrian climate research, advancing the achievement of its members' research goals (with a focus on climate research as a whole) in accordance with a strategic concept. (Excerpt from the rules of procedure, preamble)
