The "25th Austrian Klimatag" was organised in accordance with the criteria of the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Meetings and Green Events. Through this certification, we aim to fulfil our social responsibility. To that end, we're taking many visible and behind-the-scenes measures to do our bit for sustainable development. On this page, we'd like to fill you in on some of these measures and warmly invite you to join us in making a contribution.
For the Green Meeting/Green Event certification, we're working on-site with the Innsbruck Convention Bureau. If you have any questions, please get in touch directly with the Green Meeting officers Christine Keth or Olivia Lienher. You can reach them at meeting@innsbruck.info or +43 512 53 56 -700/-732.
During and after the event, you'll have the opportunity to share your feedback on the Green Meeting/Green Event. We thank you in advance.
The Austrian Klimatag 2025 was organised to be as climate- and environmentally friendly as possible. This included a climate-friendly buffet, eco-conscious print materials, and easy access to the venues by public transport, bicycle, or on foot. Communication and a shared commitment to making a statement also played an important role.
The guiding principle was: avoid and reduce harmful greenhouse gases! Those CO2 emissions that were nonetheless generated by Klimatag participants travelling to the event were offset by CCCA. The BOKU competence centre for climate neutrality was selected as the partner for offsetting. The offsetting contribution will be used within the Green Seed project.
