CCCA Poster Prizes

During the Klimatag, participants have the opportunity to rate the posters on display. Based on this, a jury awards the poster prize.

The poster must meet the following criteria:

  • The poster is visually appealing and its message is clearly understandable.
  • The content of the poster is of high scientific quality and innovative.
  • The content of the poster has high scientific and societal relevance.

The jury will reassess the highest-rated posters as selected by the audience and award prizes to the 3 posters that best meet the criteria. Prizes will only be awarded to posters whose authors are represented at the award ceremony by at least one person.

The CCCA Poster Prizes will be presented on Fri., 25.04. between 11:00 – 12:15 in Session V.

CCCA Early Career Researcher Prize

The CCCA Early Career Researcher Prize for 2025 was awarded to two colleagues, as both submissions were of outstanding quality:

  • V08 Monica Barman (Uni Salzburg, Leibniz Institute of Vegetable and Ornamental Crops): Effects of drought stress on male and female flowers and pollinator visits in Styrian oil pumpkin plants (presentation in English) - Winner of the CCCA Early Career Researcher Prize
  • V09 Theresa Boiger (Uni Graz): Optimizing the Utilization of Harvested Wood Products for Maximum Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction in a Bioeconomy: A Multi-Objective Optimization Approach - Winner of the CCCA Early Career Researcher Prize

At the 25th Klimatag, the annual CCCA Early Career Researcher Prize will also be presented. With this prize, CCCA aims to put the spotlight on and recognise the scientific achievements of young researchers. Submissions are made via a scientific publication, which is assessed by renowned scientists. Every person who submits will receive written feedback on their submitted paper. The highest-rated paper will be awarded a prize of €1,000 at the Klimatag and presented in a talk in a scientific session. The prize will only be awarded to the author who is present at the award ceremony, or to a representative.

The CCCA Early Career Researcher Prize will be presented on Thu., 24.04. as part of Session II between 14:30 – 16:00. This year there are again 2 winners owing to the outstanding quality of the submissions.

After successfully completing the review process, the aim is to give all other submitted scientific publications a presence at the Klimatag in the form of poster presentations during the lunch and coffee breaks.
