Topic: "Climate Change Adaptation: Implementing measures in a risk-oriented way"

The workshop aims to foster the exchange of experience between stakeholders and departments within the administration and to strengthen the interface between science and practice.

As a starting point for the joint discussion, there'll be four keynote presentations on key themes around climate change adaptation and implementation, with a particular focus on lessons learnt, needs from practice and ideas for implementation:

  • Climate risks in Austria: Current and future hazards and vulnerabilities (Stefan Kienberger, GeoSphere Austria)
