The Holzwelt Murau Energy Camp on 7 and 8 May 2026 this year explores the question of what impact the energy transition has on the economy as a whole and what the economic prospects of a Green Tech Economy look like, under the title "Green Tech Economy – the Future of Energy and Business?"
The 12th Energy Camp in Murau will feature a number of renowned speakers. Among the presenters are Univ.Prof. Dr. Sigrid Stagl, climate economist and Scientist of the Year 2024, Prof. Dr. Monika Köppl-Turyna, Director of EcoAustria, Mag. Brigitte Ederer, former board member of Siemens AG and former EU Secretary of State, Regional Councillor for Economic Affairs DI Willibald Ehrenhöfer, and Ing. Bernhard Puttinger, Managing Director of the Green Tech Valley Cluster (full list at www.energiecamp.at). Participants can also look forward to a
keynote from trend spotter and Amazon bestselling author Marcel Aberle (Back to the Future) and many more programme highlights — including the exciting Innovation Lounge and the Power Talk. The opening will be delivered by Regional Councillor Simone Schmiedtbauer.
As every year, the Energy Camp presents itself as more than just a specialist event. Rather, participants are treated to a varied programme featuring exciting keynotes, an Innovation Lounge, a panel discussion, extensive networking opportunities, the #Reallabor Convention, and the presentation of the Energy Camp Innovation Award.
