60 students – 7 universities – 2 semesters – 1 goal: tackling sustainability challenges as a team! Seize your chance to take part in an interdisciplinary course with real impact, and gain practical experience as well as ECTS credits.
The Sustainability Challenge is THE opportunity to bring your skills beyond everyday university life and develop yourself both professionally and personally.
- Meet new people: Connect with students from 7 different universities and expand your network!
- Interdisciplinary teams: Work on future-relevant projects with fellow students from a range of disciplines.
- Hands-on learning: No exams – just intensive project work where you tackle sustainability head-on, and you'll earn 8 ECTS for it!
- Diverse perspectives: We look at sustainability, the SDGs and climate protection from multiple angles – from the arts and technology to the social and natural sciences.
- Future prospects: A certificate of participation and great networking opportunities open up new career paths for you!
- Start: October 2025
You can choose between two tracks:
- Start-up Track: If you'd like to realise your own sustainable idea.
- Service-Learning Track: If you want to work with a company on a sustainable project.
Whether you're doing a master's degree or are in an advanced stage of your bachelor's or diploma programme – everyone is welcome, regardless of your field of study or university!
