To kick things off, we'll be spanning the arc from tipping points in the climate system through extreme weather events to the role of social tipping points in the transformations we need. After a dose of science, you can ask your own questions and quote from the session for your reporting – or simply carry on enjoying your lunch.

The offering from the Netzwerk Klimajournalismus Deutschland & Österreich is free of charge and is aimed at journalists, media professionals, and those in journalistic training. You can look forward to rarely explored perspectives, inspiration for new research questions, and one key graphic per Climate Briefing that you really ought to know about. We'll also be clearing up common misconceptions – because even experienced journalists can make avoidable mistakes given the complexity of the crises we're facing.
