The 9th CCCA Writing Workshop for climate researchers, held jointly with DOSSIER, will take place from 13–14 November 2025 at the University of Vienna.
In this two-day workshop you'll learn how to communicate information in an engaging and accessible way. Together we'll work through the fundamentals of journalistic writing and practise – using hands-on examples – what makes a good story. New this year is a special focus on storytelling in social media – in addition to an introduction to the broader media landscape. There'll also be the opportunity to receive individual feedback in an online feedback session afterwards.

In its role as a network organisation, CCCA aims to ensure that as many different CCCA member organisations as possible can benefit from our offerings. Should places remain available, external participants are also very welcome. Alongside early-career researchers, we particularly encourage applications from people with a practical background (e.g. press officers or communications professionals)!
