"A Few Degrees More" Travels to the Museum Starnberger See

Initiated by the Leopold Museum, the Museum Starnberger See has now also hung selected paintings at a tilt to draw attention to the threat posed by climate change.

"A Few Degrees More" is the title and motto of an initiative by the Leopold Museum in Vienna in cooperation with the climate research network Climate Change Centre Austria (CCCA). The Museum Starnberger See has become the first museum worldwide to join the initiative, in order to highlight the catastrophic effects of just a few extra degrees of temperature on life and nature around Lake Starnberg.

The underlying data comes from measurements and modelling by the Bavarian State Office for the Environment. The explanatory notes were developed in consultation with the CCCA.
