This year's motto is "Far out! Getting around the city without a car". The environmental award will be presented at the 3rd Graz Environmental Circus on 28/04/2017.

Graz is on the move! Unfortunately, motorised private transport still accounts for a large share of mobility. To show that things can be done differently, the City of Graz is looking for creative and innovative projects as part of the 2016/2017 Environmental Award — projects that demonstrate there are practical alternatives to the private car as a means of getting around. So we're after exciting ideas on the theme of sustainable mobility on 0–3 wheels.  

The best submissions on the theme of "Far out! – Getting around the city without a car" will be recognised with the Environmental Award of the State Capital Graz 2016/2017.
