In 2020, a total of 4 million euros is available for the ACRP funding programme, including 300,000 euros for the APCC Special Report. Funding is available for research projects dealing with aspects of climate change, its impacts in Austria, and possible adaptation measures.

The funding programme "Austrian Climate Research Programme" (ACRP) focuses on the impacts of climate change and its solutions, adaptation, mitigation, and their interrelationships. The aim is to provide a scientific basis for the implementation of Austria's climate change adaptation strategy, the integrated national climate and energy plan of the Austrian government, and the Paris Agreement in Austria.
