Alongside other prominent Austrians, environmental psychologist and current Deputy Chair of the CCCA Board Isabella Uhl-Hädicke has been nominated in the Research category for the Austria 21 Prize awarded by the Austrian daily newspaper Die Presse.
Uhl-Hädicke conducts research on the topic of climate change communication. Her teaching and research focus lies in the areas of awareness-raising and promoting environmentally friendly behaviours.
How can people be motivated to adopt environmentally friendly behaviour? That is one of the core questions Isabella Uhl-Hädicke explores at the University of Salzburg. To this end, she investigates how people from different cultures respond to threatening climate change information.
