The Co-Creation Spaces Climate & Energy 2022 call for proposals supports innovation labs for the establishment and operation of Co-Creation Spaces Climate & Energy. The funding aims to create an open, discrimination-free environment to foster the interest of children and young people in the fields of climate and energy.
What are Co-Creation Spaces Climate & Energy?
Co-Creation Spaces Climate & Energy are innovative and creative learning environments in which learning and educational offerings in the field of climate and energy are developed, tested, and brought together.
- The co-creatively developed learning and educational offerings convey forward-looking solutions and practices in the innovation areas of "climate protection", "climate change adaptation", and "(urban) renewable energy technologies".
- The user group(s), particularly pupils, gain access to the offerings outside of regular school hours and use them to complement the curriculum.
- The design of the offerings can range from stationary educational offerings to mobile labs and hybrid learning formats.
- Co-Creation Spaces Climate & Energy drive the connection between theory and practice. This can include the integration of authentic learning and working environments into knowledge transfer.
- In the Co-Creation Space, stakeholder groups from the areas of schools and the regional economy are actively involved. Innovation projects are jointly advanced and implemented cooperatively.
The call for proposals particularly addresses initiatives that act complementarily to already funded Co-Creation Spaces Climate & Energy from the first call (thematically, regionally, structurally, etc.).
