More interactive, more focused, and more room for dialogue: Since October 2021, AGIT and the English-language GI_Forum have been merged under the new brand "GI_Salzburg". The largest geoinformatics conference is thus setting new standards with a revised concept, fresh branding, and more compact formats.
- Unique combination of scientific symposium and EXPO
- Time & space for networking and conversation
- Further training in workshops and thematic focus areas
- Programme offerings for young researchers in the German-language AGIT Journal or the English-language GI_Forum Journal, as open access publications
We can look back on over 30 years of experience and make an important contribution to the development of geoinformatics, GeoIT and GI_Science through our forum. It's the annual meeting point for innovation, networking and further training. Interdisciplinary discussions, forward-looking ideas and a personal atmosphere accompany and shape the exchange between academia, industry and public administration. The EXPO rounds off the event as a practical forum for applied geoinformatics: the exhibition spectrum covers all application areas of geoinformatics and their fields of innovation. Exhibitor presentations, hands-on workshops and the conference programme complement the offerings of the exhibiting companies.
