Research and demonstration projects for the development of climate-neutral, resilient and climate change adaptation-oriented cities

Call for proposals open from 04.04.2024 12:00 to 11.07.2024 12:00!

The Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) and the Climate and Energy Fund have set themselves the goal of jointly enabling and accelerating the implementation of energy and climate targets in Austrian cities, districts and buildings through the Mission "Climate-Neutral City".

The call for proposals "Technologies and Innovations for the Climate-Neutral City 2024" addresses specific applied research questions and R&D services that will contribute to the development of climate-neutral, resilient and climate change adaptation-oriented cities, districts and buildings. 
Funding is provided from the resources of the BMK and the Climate and Energy Fund. A total budget of around 23 million EUR is available.
