We share a common goal: to raise awareness of issues surrounding climate change, its impacts, and the options available for action.
To help us get there, we at the Climate Change Centre Austria have developed tools that help make the complex topics of climate change and socio-ecological transformation easily accessible. With these, we also want to reach everyone who isn't (yet) a climate change expert. These tools are free of charge and available online for everyone. Here we'd like to briefly introduce three of them.
With the Wissenssnacks, climate-relevant topics are served up in bite-sized portions:
In a handy postcard format, the currently 19 Wissenssnacks offer a compact insight into a variety of topics. These snacks are easy to digest for beginners too, and cover a wide thematic range — from the question of whether skiing is still the best thing ever, to how to stay cool when the earth heats up, and much more. If you'd like, we're happy to send you the print files so you can have the snacks printed in postcard format whenever you like.
Quench your thirst for knowledge with the CCCA Fact Sheets:
The CCCA Fact Sheets present knowledge from a range of climate-relevant fields on two A4 pages in an accessible format — suitable for interested non-specialists as well as experts. We currently have 57 Fact Sheets covering topics such as mobility, biodiversity, gender, and much more.
Find the right solutions with the klima2go Maßnahmenkompass:
This forward-looking database makes climate- and sustainability-relevant measures from a variety of scientifically grounded sources easily accessible. The measures can be browsed using a search and filter function and are directly linked to the relevant publications. klima2go is aimed at all users of climate and sustainability measures and is designed to make implementation easier. If you'd like to find out more, we warmly invite you to a 30-minute online introduction, where we'll present the ideas and goals of klima2go using concrete examples, with plenty of room for your questions.
You'll find all the details in the CCCA events calendar:
If you use our tools in the future — or perhaps you've already had a chance to try them out — we'd love to hear a little about your experience, e.g. at info@ccca.ac.at!
