"CliA" is the Austrian State Prize for Climate Change Adaptation, awarded annually. It was established to highlight the importance of adaptation as the second pillar of climate policy. As the highest state honour, it puts particularly exemplary adaptation projects in the spotlight that meet the criteria for good adaptation practice.
The "Austrian State Prize for Climate Change Adaptation" is meant to recognise those actors who have implemented successful measures and projects for good climate change adaptation. The competition puts particularly exemplary adaptation measures and projects in the spotlight, using positive examples to create an incentive for other actors to actively drive forward their own measures or projects for climate change adaptation.
"CliA – Austrian State Prize for Climate Change Adaptation" is supported by the Federal Minister for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) and the Climate and Energy Fund.
Submissions are open until 3 June 2024 (12:00).
