The second part of the IPCC's 6th assessment report will certainly spark more political debate, says Hans-Otto Pörtner, Co-Chair of Working Group II. 270 authors from around the world have reviewed more than 34,000 climate science publications for the report. On Monday, the final step begins: adoption at the IPCC plenary of member states.
