Under the title "Climate Change and News Audiences Report 2024: Analysis of News Use and Attitudes in Eight Countries", the authors Waqas Ejaz, Mitali Mukherjee and Richard Fletcher examine news and information about climate change as well as people's perceptions, experiences and responses to its growing impacts. This is based on a Reuters Institute survey on news use across eight countries (Brazil, France, Germany, India, Japan, Pakistan, the United Kingdom and the USA). Compared to 2022 (27 per cent), this figure has barely changed.
