The project "The Inclusive Climate Protection Academy"
In their project, the Climate Protection Academy (das Gramm Verein, LebensGroß and Atempo) is developing a training programme for Inclusive Climate Protection Coaches.
What does "inclusive" mean? People with and without learning difficulties learn together.
What happens after the training?
- After the training, you'll be able to run inclusive climate protection workshops.
- You'll work as part of a team, for example in tandems or small groups.
- The workshops take place in schools, businesses, communities, or other venues.
What will you learn at the Academy?
- Everything about climate protection: Why does it matter? What can be done?
- Everything is explained in an accessible format and in plain language.
- Sessions are always taught by two people together:
- One person with extensive knowledge of climate protection.
- One person with expertise in inclusion.
How long does the training last?
The training lasts 11 months. You'll be supported throughout the entire time.
At the end, you'll be a certified "Inclusive Climate Protection Coach".
What does the training cost?
Thanks to funding from the innovation fund "Licht ins Dunkel", the training currently costs just €285. If you're unable to pay the reduced course fee, a solution will be found!
