Crowdfunding Campaign for Project ORCA Launches

The non-profit association project ORCA is planning to set up a climate protection academy to help small and medium-sized enterprises in particular on their path to climate neutrality. From 7 June 2021, you'll be able to support this initiative on the crowdfunding platform https://www.startnext.com/orca-klimaschutzakademie and receive a range of goodies in return. Find out more at www.project-orca.com.

Marion Zöchbauer, Nathalie Aubourg, Joshua Zelle and Johannes Naimer-Stach – are the core team of project ORCA. Together with partners and supporters, they are building a climate protection academy. In doing so, they are helping small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to become climate-neutral themselves and to drive forward the decarbonisation of their value chains.

What are the goals

The aim is to make information available quickly and straightforwardly. There's a real lack of awareness of just how significantly the climate targets agreed by the government will affect the future of businesses. Practice-oriented training modules for SMEs and consultants are being developed so that as many businesses as possible can be reached more quickly with high-quality information. Together, they want to bring everyone along on the path to climate neutrality — because the transition to a climate-neutral society affects us all.

A second focus is the further training of consultants, trainers, and multipliers. Through dedicated train-the-trainer formats, essential knowledge is to be shared rapidly, offering the opportunity to work with advisory firms to develop tailored solutions for achieving climate targets.
