REMINDER! 14 December, online: Mission Soil – Thematic Event on Soil Sealing
Reducing soil sealing is a key objective of the Mission "A Soil Deal for Europe". In line with this, the EU project NatI00ns is hosting a webinar on "Breaking ground together: Solutions for urban and post-industrial soil de-sealing". Get inspired by innovative solutions and hear how a wide range of stakeholders can work together effectively to combat soil sealing and promote healthier urban ecosystems.

ÖAW Call "Future Soil"
Two million euros are available to Austrian researchers through the "Future Soil" call from the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) for research projects on the topic of soil. The goals of the EU Mission: A Soil Deal for Europe are to be explored through theory-driven and/or documentary research. The submission deadline is 15 February.

Circular Investment Readiness Network to support circular economy projects
The Circular Investment Readiness Network is a joint initiative of the EU projects CircularInvest and DEFINITE-CCRI. Both projects support the "Circular Cities and Regions" Initiative, which focuses on promoting the circular economy across Europe. The network offers a platform for effective networking and knowledge sharing. Its aim is to support network partners in overcoming development and funding barriers to facilitate investment in circular economy projects. Interested parties are warmly invited to join the network and benefit from the opportunities on offer.

SAVE THE DATE! 17 April, Tallinn & online: European Partnership Biodiversa+ – BiodivMon Kick-off Meeting
From the Biodiversa+ Call 2022, 33 projects focused on "Improved transnational monitoring of biodiversity and ecosystem change for science and society" will receive a total of €46 million in funding. Among the successful submissions are 4 projects with Austrian involvement. All funded projects will be presented at the kick-off event. Registration will soon be available via the Biodiversa+ homepage
