On 31 October 2017, the Austrian daily newspaper "Die Presse" dedicated a special Vienna Journal to the topic of urban climate. The various articles explored questions around quality of life, urban development, light & noise, new construction methods, ecological building materials, and more.

Weatherpark was also interviewed. Managing Director Simon Tschannett explained what makes Vienna's climate so unique and what shapes it. He also revealed how it will remain possible in the future to live in harmony with wind and weather. Technical tools combined with the well-founded expertise of meteorologists and engineers help the residents and users of cities enjoy a pleasant time outdoors.
