A journey, tracing the footsteps of the climate crisis...
"Generation Change – Who's Going to Save the World" is a documentary film by Südwind about climate change, activism and a train journey across Europe. As part of the 1Planet4All project, the film team travelled together with a climate activist across Europe to places where the consequences of climate change are already clearly visible and tangible. Young people fighting the climate crisis get to have their say and talk together about solutions.
Throughout the journey, the impacts of the climate crisis are more than present: flooding, wildfires, tornadoes and record heatwaves are already part of the daily news. At the same time, people and projects are presented that give rise to hope.
Since May, the film has been touring across Austria. Upcoming dates are:
