FH Joanneum in Graz is launching the first course in the German-speaking world for sustainability communication and climate journalism this autumn. The part-time programme is aimed at people from many different sectors.

Whether journalists or employees from businesses, NGOs, politics and public administration, education and culture – the new course aims to attract people from the most diverse backgrounds.

The course was developed in collaboration with, amongst others, the Institute for Communication and Media at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences (IKUM) and the Climate Change Centre Austria (CCCA), which coordinates climate and climate impact research in Austria. Next year, CCCA also plans to host the K3 Congress on climate communication in Graz.
