The Viennese weekly newspaper is expanding its coverage of environmental topics whilst also broadening its newsletter offering. The Viennese weekly Falter is launching a new section called "Nature" at the start of spring. It will be headed by Falter's environmental editor Benedikt Narodoslawsky, who recently published a book about the Fridays for Future movement.
"Since its very first issue, Falter and environmental journalism have gone hand in hand," says Armin Thurnher, publisher of Falter. "We'll now be dedicating ourselves to topics such as sustainability, climate change, agriculture and soil sealing with specialist editors, whilst also researching fascinating stories about animals and plants," says Falter editor-in-chief Florian Klenk. Readers will also find investigative journalism in the Nature section.
