FIT4FUNDING Course Your training on EU Funding by FFG Academy

The 7th edition of the Fit4Funding e-learning course takes place from 20 February – 26 March 2026.

…if you are a junior scientist who likes to improve your knowledge in European funding programmes for Research & Innovation (R&I). After this course, you will have sufficient knowledge to kick-off your own European funding journey.

You will get

  • an introduction on the relevant political background of European funding and an overview of available programmes
  • insights on proposal preparation, peer review processes & information on programmes for developing your career
  • an overview on important cross-cutting topics in the context of European R & I projects
  • And you will learn the EU "jargon" and how to make use of the Austrian support structures when preparing a project

Target group: junior scientists from universities, research organisations and companies
Your time investment: 30 learning units à 50 minutes over a period of 5 weeks (20 February - 26 March 2026)
Tailored course design: mix of online self-learning modules provided on an e-learning platform, several live expert webinars an one-day live online training.

Call launch: COIN SME Innovation Networks 2025

The primary aim of this thematically open call is to improve the innovation capacity and innovation output of Austrian businesses (in particular small and medium-sized enterprises - SMEs).
 
Funding is available for the implementation of concrete innovation projects (products, processes and services) in innovation networks with multiple consortium members. Through structured collaboration within the network, a significant and lasting leap in quality and innovation is to be achieved across all consortium members.
 
A total of up to 3 million euros is available for this call.
Submission deadline: 27 March 2026, 12:00:00 (CET).
