Funding call: Application open! Internships for school pupils

The Internships for School Pupils call is entering its next round: the call is open and the internship marketplace (https://www.ffg.at/junge-talente/praktika) is now online! School pupils across Austria can get hands-on experience of research, technology, and innovation through a funded summer internship. Internships are available across all natural science and technical fields.

The Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) funds internships for school pupils with €1,200 per internship.

The FFG internship marketplace features a wide range of internship opportunities on topics such as the energy transition, circular economy, medical technology, and many other forward-looking fields.

We'd also like to draw your attention to the Internships for Female Students call, which has been open since 10.03.25.

Internships for Female Students are high-quality placement opportunities for female students in companies and non-university research institutions in the natural sciences and technology. The focus is on conveying practical know-how through qualified supervision, the active involvement of students in research projects, and introducing them to applied research. The internship can also be completed by female students in the course of writing their final thesis (e.g. diploma, master's, or bachelor's thesis).
