We asked female climate scientists what tips and tricks they have for putting as little strain on the environment as possible. These include:

• Prof. Birgit Bednar-Friedl is an environmental economist at the University of Graz and coordinating lead author of the assessment report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change
• Prof. Sigrid Stagl is an ecological economist and researches at the Department of Socioeconomics at WU Vienna
• Dr. Isabella Uhl-Hädicke researches and teaches environmental psychology at the University of Salzburg
• Dr. Andrea Höltl is a sustainability expert at Danube University Krems
• Prof. Andrea K. Steiner heads the Wegener Center for Climate and Global Change at the University of Graz and researches the climate crisis
