The NEXT INCUBATOR Innovation Hub for Sustainability is organising an ideas competition called "simply charging electric" in cooperation with the Mobility Lab. Ideas and solutions are being sought for optimal charging of electric vehicles in urban spaces.

How could charging an electric vehicle be as simple as withdrawing cash from an ATM?

In search of the best proposals, the NEXT INCUBATOR Innovation Hub for Sustainability is launching the ideas competition "simply charging electric" on the Open Innovation Platform of the MOBILITY LAB! Original, innovative, and user-friendly solutions are sought for effective and optimal charging of electric vehicles in urban spaces. 

• In an ideal scenario, how should the charging process work from arriving at the charging point through to billing for the energy charged?
• What features would (tomorrow's) electric car drivers like to have available at and during the charging process?
• What public charging options do I have in the city / should I have in the city, given that many people park their vehicles in public spaces and cannot/need not/should not move their vehicle every time charging is complete (e.g. at 3 in the morning)?
