The Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK), the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) and the Data Intelligence Offensive (DIO) warmly invite you to IMAGINE21 and the first Austrian Data Day21 on 17 June 2021, taking place online directly before the Austrian Computer Science Day (ACSD).
The major societal challenges we're currently facing can't be solved by individual players on their own. That's why industry, small and large businesses, startups, research institutions, politics & administration, media, NGOs, arts and culture, citizens, young people, etc. need to work together in new ways. IMAGINE21 and the Austrian Data Day21 provide valuable momentum for this. Under the motto "Be the Change", they place people and the environment at the heart of digital technologies and explore shaping the future across topic areas such as energy efficiency, data, artificial intelligence (AI), ubiquity, health, AAL, interconnectivity, new business models, education, distancing & robotics, smart cities & regions, etc.
The German sociologist, social psychologist and author Prof. Harald Welzer has been secured as keynote speaker. Harald Welzer is co-founder and director of the non-profit foundation Futurzwei|Stiftung Zukunftsfähigkeit, which is dedicated to highlighting and promoting alternative lifestyles and economic models.
