The CliMates Austria Project Klimareporter_in aims to make climate-relevant topics accessible, particularly for young people. The nationwide Austrian project is funded by the BMK (Federal Ministry for Climate Protection, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology).

What Klimareporter_in does

We're a team of young people who care deeply about the climate and the environment. We don't want to just stand by and watch the climate crisis unfold — we want to turn our motivation and conviction into action. To spread the spark to others, Klimareporter_innen write and post about relevant topics for young people. To gather new ideas for exciting stories, we also regularly attend and report from interesting talks and conferences.

We've also organised events like clothes swap parties so we can put our ideas for a more sustainable society straight into practice.
