'KLIMA~TATEN~DRANG' Workshop

How can art & science — together — contribute to a stronger awareness of climate change, and how can we search for concrete solutions?

This workshop is framed by an art workshop with action artist Hermann Josef Hack.

GOAL & INTENTION

The scientific findings on climate change and its devastating consequences for nature and society have been documented for decades. What's missing is the concrete translation of knowledge into active action and the encouragement of a successful transformation.

The goals of our workshop are…

…to bring people from science and art together and connect them

…to develop ideas jointly in order to make concrete contributions to raising awareness of the 'climate crisis'

…to call for concrete action

…to carry out a public action together as part of the workshop

WHEN

on Thursday, 15 October 2020, in virtual (and public) space

WHO

The workshop is aimed at people from art and science and engaged individuals (Scientists4Future, Artists4Future, FridaysForFuture, Extinction Rebellion, etc.) who are interested in the interplay of reason and emotion in the context of climate change and who see global warming not only as a scientific but above all as a cultural challenge.
