Since 2017, researchers from around the world have been analysing the relationship between climate and health for the "Lancet Countdown Report". This year, their conclusions are particularly stark.
There are many pages of statistics, tables and charts in the recently published "Lancet Countdown Europe Report". But in the end, these sentences stand out above all: "Climate change is not a distant, theoretical future scenario. It is here. And it is killing people."
