- Research Cooperation International Energy Agency 2023 - Submission deadline: 19.7.2023, 12:00 | Budget: €700,000
With the IEA Research Cooperation – Call 2023 – the Ministry of Climate Protection is supporting Austrian participation in the research activities of the International Energy Agency (IEA). A total of €3.3 million is available, with the Climate and Energy Fund contributing a budget of around €700,000 for Technology Cooperation Programmes (TCP).

- FTI Initiative for the Transformation of Industry - Submission deadline: 18.9.2023, 12:00 | Budget: €15 million
With the "FTI Initiative for the Transformation of Industry", we're supporting the development and demonstration of game-changer technologies that contribute to climate protection and sustainability while boosting the competitiveness of the Austrian economy. The target audience for this FTI initiative includes manufacturing industry companies, energy suppliers, technology providers along the value chain, as well as research institutions and universities.

- Sustainable Mobility in Practice 2023 - Submission deadline: 4.10.2023, 12:00 | Budget: €1 million
The "Sustainable Mobility in Practice" programme is a driver and enabler for the spread of electric mobility and other sustainable forms of mobility in Austria. Since 2017, the programme – formerly known as "Electric Mobility in Practice" – has been funding projects and measures that help to avoid, shift and improve transport, and to significantly increase the share of sustainable transport (walking and cycling, public transport and shared mobility).

- Austrian Climate Research Programme (ACRP) 2023 - Submission deadline: 25.1.2024, 12:00 | Budget: €5 million
The Austrian Climate Research Programme (ACRP) provides a conceptual and institutional basis for supporting climate research in Austria. The ACRP focuses on research on climate change and climate actions, adaptation, mitigation and their mutual interrelation. The 16th Call comprises the following three thematic areas: Understanding the climate system and the consequences of climate change, Specific support for Austria's policymakers, Transformative change.

- Zero Emission Mobility (ZEM) 2023 - Submission deadline: 4.10.2024, 12:00 | Budget: €8 million
Zero emission technologies offer the opportunity to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transport and to contribute to a future-proof and interoperable mobility system. We fund technology- and implementation-oriented projects in the field of electric mobility for the integration of components, systems and services into a holistic mobility system.
