The ACRP Call 2020, endowed with 4 million euros, has launched. The following topic areas have been announced:

• Understanding the climate system and the consequences of climate change
• Specific Support for Austria's policy makers
• Transformative change and governance
• Climate change in an interconnected world
• Special Report Climate change in mountain regions - challenges and opportunities

The funding programme "Austrian Climate Research Programme" (ACRP) focuses on the impacts of climate change and its solutions, adaptation, mitigation and their interrelationships. The aim is to provide a scientific basis for the implementation of the Austrian climate change adaptation strategy, the integrated national climate and energy plan of the Austrian government, and the Paris Agreement in Austria.
