Launch of the 15th Sustainability Challenge – Apply now!

60 students – 7 universities – 2 semesters – 1 goal: tackling sustainability challenges as a team! Grab your chance to be part of an interdisciplinary course with real impact, and gain practical experience as well as ECTS credits.

Applications are open via the online form from now until 23 September!

The Sustainability Challenge brings together students from all disciplines, enables a multi-perspective engagement with the SDGs, and bridges the gap between academia and practice. You choose whether you want to work in an interdisciplinary team with partners from the field on sustainable solutions, or bring a sustainable start-up idea to life.

The Sustainability Challenge is your chance to get involved, discover your talents, and grow personally!

  • Step outside your bubble and into exchange with students from the most diverse fields of study and universities
  • Project work instead of everyday uni life — but with 8 ECTS
  • Collaboration in an interdisciplinary team
  • No exams, but intensive project work with companies and organisations committed to sustainability — OR get a taste of entrepreneurship with your own start-up
  • Exchange, input & supervision from lecturers at 7 universities across different disciplines
  • An elective course focusing on sustainability, SDGs & climate protection — we look at it from the widest range of perspectives — art, technology, social sciences, humanities, and natural sciences
  • Meet new people and expand your network: companies, students, lecturers & other engaged individuals
  • Future prospects and job opportunities
  • Start: October 2024
