A commission made up of members of the Austrian Biodiversity Council and the Climate Journalism Austria network is awarding two scholarships of EUR 5,000 each to journalists who wish to engage in depth with this topic in all its complexity, with an eye on the urgency of action. Applications are open until 31 July!
The donors are the project partners of the MGG22 residential quarter, M2plus and Neues Leben.
Journalists play an important role in illustrating the urgency of the climate and biodiversity crisis, holding politicians to account, and telling positive stories about changes already under way. The scholarships are intended to support journalistic work that is urgently needed for the fundamental paradigm shift of eco-social transformation.
