The first funding call for our MINT4future focus area is now online! Schools in Lower Austria can apply for funding of up to 25,000 euros for a focus on STEM subjects. A funding budget of 450,000 euros is available for this collaborative project with the State of Lower Austria.
The aim is to support schools in implementing a science focus with funding and know-how. School projects are eligible for funding that allow children and young people to engage intensively with topics in the areas of mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology over a period of up to two years, and to sustainably establish a school focus in these areas. Projects that incorporate aspects of the humanities, social sciences and cultural studies are also welcome.
Submission deadline: From 29 November 2021 to 24 January 2022
The call is carried out in two steps (1st phase: Call for Concept competition; 2nd phase: Call for Projects) with a supported development phase in between.
