"Protecting the Climate, Protecting Species"
is the motto of this year's MUTTER ERDE focus, which was presented on 27 April at an online press briefing by ORF Director General Alexander Wrabetz, Anita Malli, Managing Director of MUTTER ERDE, and Andrea Johanides, Managing Director of WWF Austria and board member of MUTTER ERDE.
More than 150 features on TV, radio and online
The MUTTER ERDE focus 2021 takes place from 25 May to 6 June with more than 150 features across all media — on television and radio as well as online, in the regional studios and on ORF Teletext — and is dedicated to the topics of climate protection and species conservation.
Under the motto "Protecting the Climate, Protecting Species", the connections between the climate crisis and species extinction are highlighted. The focus is on both the current situation and solutions for climate and species protection.
MUTTER ERDE and story.one are looking for stories that tell of positive change in the areas of climate protection, species conservation and mindfulness towards the world.
Together with the Austrian Federal Forests, we will plant a tree for every story submitted.
