That climate change is man-made and that industrialised nations are the primary contributors has been established in numerous studies and is beyond doubt. However, "mankind" implies a gender neutrality that is not quite accurate.
This is the conclusion reached by the authors Brigitte Ratzer (TU Wien), Maciej Palucki (BOKU), Claudia Michl (CCCA, BOKU), who explain the reasons for this in their newly published fact sheet entitled "Climate and Gender in Industrialised Countries — Connections and Opportunities".
