New CCCA Fact Sheet entitled "Degrowth – climate protection through a growth transition" published

Degrowth refers to an economic current and a movement for a transformation of our economy in line with climate and biodiversity goals. The aims of degrowth include, among other things, a fairer distribution of prosperity and the conservation of resources, in order to enable a good life for all within planetary boundaries. Degrowth is primarily to be seen as a concept for the Global North, with the aim of developing a more sustainable future outlook for countries like Austria.

In the new CCCA Fact Sheet, the two authors Dirk Raith and Philipp Wilfinger explain, amongst other things, the fundamentals of degrowth, how "green growth" can occur through decoupling, and present concrete measures and approaches of degrowth.
