passathon 2024 gets the energy transition rolling

With 700 low-carbon buildings across 250 municipalities, the passathon 2024 – RACE FOR FUTURE has set a new record for buildings that demonstrate how the transition to sustainable heating and energy can be successfully achieved. New additions this year include properties from the City of Vienna's "100 Projects – Out of Gas" initiative. The launch kicks off on 7 April with a group tour in Innsbruck, after which all participants have six months to explore these flagship buildings by bike using the "Österreich radelt" app. This is worthwhile
not only for the climate and your own health, but also offers the prospect of winning the PASSATHON TROPHY.

Innsbruck launches with a firework display of climate-neutral buildings

On Sunday, 07.04.2024, the passathon 2024 – RACE FOR FUTURE kicks off in Innsbruck with a spectacular showcase of successful examples of a liveable future. Together with Mayor Willi, a plus-energy building or passive house will be visited every 350 metres – 50 showcase buildings in total. Such a high density exists nowhere else in the world.

Anyone who'd like to take part should hurry with their registration, as there are only 50 places available!
