This year's competition focuses on the impacts of the climate crisis and solutions.
The scientific community is in agreement: climate change affects us all. Natural disasters are increasing worldwide due to global warming. Tackling this global challenge calls for creative solutions. The European Environment Agency has therefore dedicated its 2021 annual photo competition to the theme of "climate change impacts and solutions".
Until 1 August 2021, photos can be submitted in the following categories:
1. Impacts of climate change on nature
2. Impacts of climate change on society
3. Solutions: climate change and society
4. Solutions: climate change and the individual
Citizens of EU member states, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Turkey, North Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina are eligible to participate.
