… dream of hearing your own piece on the radio?

… want to engage creatively with climate and energy topics?

Then get involved in the project "Podcast for future: on tour!" and create podcast episodes together with other young people from all across Austria that will be broadcast on the radio.
 

The project

In the project "Podcast for future: on tour!", you'll become part of a group of young people who, with the support of professional radio trainers and climate and energy experts, produce podcast episodes on a wide range of climate and energy topics.

Along the way, you'll get to know the entire process of creating a podcast: from writing the concept to recording and post-producing the episodes! This gives you the chance to get a real feel for radio and podcast work by learning everything you need to know about radio and podcasts directly from experts.
The finished episodes will then be broadcast as part of existing programme slots and made available for listening on various platforms.

Young people already produced some brilliant podcasts in the predecessor project Podcast for future. What's special about the follow-up project? "Podcast for future: on tour!" might be coming to a place near you this time. You'll have the opportunity to join our workshop in three different federal states!

The workshop

In the workshop, you'll dive deep into radio and podcast work as well as various climate and energy topics. You'll also produce most of your podcast episodes there together with others. After the workshop, you can still get support with the production and post-processing of your podcast: the trainers will advise you directly and we'll organise an editorial meeting.

Participation requirements

• You're interested in media, particularly radio and podcasts, and want to find out more.
• You're keen to engage creatively with various climate and energy topics.
• You're between 16 and 25 years old.
• You have the time and enthusiasm to take part in one of the three workshops.
