Press conference: Experts on Austrian climate and environmental policy

What does science say about Austrian climate and environmental policy?

"Diskurs. Das Wissenschaftsnetz" is hosting a media discussion in Vienna on 16.09.2019.

This press conference focuses on the socio-political reasons why so little progress is being made in climate and environmental policy. What's more, the black-blue climate and environmental policy has led to a further de-democratisation. What are the key obstacles to adequate climate and energy policy from a scientific perspective? What are the central historical and current causes? Where does science see the greatest potential for action? What role does civil society play?
