Publication of the APCC Special Report: Structures for a Climate-Friendly Life

The project leadership team of the APCC Special Report: Structures for Climate-Friendly Living is pleased to let you know that the report will be presented on Monday, 28 November, at 9 a.m. at a press briefing with Climate Protection Minister Leonore Gewessler and Labour Minister Martin Kocher by Karl Steininger and Andreas Novy (on behalf of the editors). Here (and below) is the advance notice for the press briefing

The report is the result of a comprehensive two-year assessment of the current literature on the subject. In our view, it was well worth the effort: the report covers significant and many new areas, and in its final version is very extensive (750 pages, 80 authors, 180 reviewers, ~100 stakeholders, ~2,000 literature sources). You can find an overview here: APCC SR 22 Strukturen für ein klimafreundliches Leben (ccca.ac.at).

From Monday, the chapters will be made available on the website http://klimafreundliches-leben.apcc-sr.ccca.ac.at. In spring 2023, the report will be published as a book by Springer Spektrum.

If you're interested, the editors as well as the authors (including Karl Steininger, Verena Madner, Andreas Novy, Andreas Muhar, Christoph Görg, Alfred Posch and Ernest Aigner) are happy to be available for joint events, discussions or presentations of the findings.
