SDG Flag Campaign - UN Global Compact Network Austria

On 25 September, the SDG Flag Day takes place worldwide, for which we're organising an awareness campaign. First launched in the Netherlands in 2020, the campaign is now being carried out globally by numerous national networks of the UN Global Compact.

The aim is to highlight the relevance of the Sustainable Development Goals by raising the SDG flag and to publicly demonstrate commitment to their implementation. With 6 years left until 2030 and only 17% of the SDGs on track, it's all the more important to send a clear signal. Last year, more than 1,500 companies, embassies, NGOs, governmental, academic and civil society institutions took part.

With this campaign, organisations, businesses, municipalities, schools and governments around the world are showing that they are part of this global movement. Join this international campaign and get involved on 25 September 2024.

The SDG flag will also be raised at the K3 Congress on Climate Communication, which takes place in Graz from 25–26 September 2024!
