Neo-ecology, connectivity, resilience, new work: looking to the future opens up countless perspectives and visions. The ESD Summer Academy run by Forum Umweltbildung at Umweltdachverband this year invites participants to link educational work with different future scenarios in order to draw possible insights for the present — and in two formats at that: at Schloss Seggau near Leibnitz from 23–25 and online from 24–25 August. The all-important question for participants of the ESD Summer Academy is: "Do you think big?!" The event will show how we can change society through education by not only thinking big ourselves, but also encouraging others to shift their perspective. Together with participants, the gaze will be directed towards the future and back to the present, in order to derive recommendations for action to achieve the SDGs and take the steps needed for the necessary transformation.
The ESD Summer Academy supports multipliers with practical tips for educational work and reinforces engagement with regard to the SDGs, climate protection and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).
