The submission phase of the VCÖ Mobility Award Austria 2022 has officially kicked off. We're looking for projects or concepts for environmentally friendly mobility or more sustainable freight transport.
We invite you to take part in Austria's biggest competition for climate-friendly mobility and sustainable freight transport. The VCÖ Mobility Award Austria is run in cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Climate Protection and the ÖBB. In 2022, the VCÖ Mobility Award is dedicated to the transformation towards emission-free mobility under the motto "Implementing the Transport Transition". The goal is to lay the groundwork today for a sustainable and socially just mobility of tomorrow and beyond.
Who can enter the VCÖ Mobility Award and with what
Businesses, start-ups, municipalities, cities and districts, research and educational institutions, associations, students, initiatives and private individuals are all welcome to enter. International projects are welcome too. You can submit completed projects as well as concepts, pilot projects and research work that help drive forward the mobility transition.

VCÖ would like to offer early bird submitters a special thank-you: if you submit your project by 30 April (inclusive), we'll offer you the VCÖ media package for the rest of 2022 free of charge. This gives you a subscription to VCÖ publications (publication, magazine, factsheet), with all issues sent to you by post. If you'd like to take up this offer, simply send an email after submitting your project, stating the name of your submitted project and your postal address.

Submitted projects will be evaluated by a specialist jury, giving them visibility within professional circles. VCÖ regularly highlights exemplary projects through various channels (specialist publications, media work, newsletter, social media, etc.). A professional short film will be made about the winning project and made available online (you can watch films from previous years here). Complete submissions will, if desired, be featured in the VCÖ online database of exemplary mobility projects, making them accessible to a wide audience.
